I purchased this battery to replace an aging lead acid battery with my small solar system, and so far I have been pleased. It is considerably lighter and maintains a charge very well between uses. I use it to run LED bulbs and a small water pump, and it is a steady supply of power that does not drop voltage rapidly. I like how compact the battery is to fit in my setup. It is a good upgrade for my use.

It is small but works well, not warm when working, good as a backup battery in the basement, generally to say, its quality is worth the cost!

I have come to have a lot of respect for lithium type batteries. So I am taking a leap of faith and will use this battery to replace the car battery I have used for my MM gate opener. Research indicates that this Lithium Iron Phosphate battery should be up to the task and if all goes well, I expect that it will last longer. My gate opener typically sees less than 5 cycles a day and has used a car battery that is charged with a 12v power supply. It is much cheaper than a car battery and it will not require any servicing. This battery is well built, no obvious flaws or defects that would cause quality concerns. It is very light weight compared to a lead acid battery which makes handling and installing much easier.
